WHO WE ARE

RootEd - Root Education is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit.   Our mission is to get greenhouses and garden programs in to all Washoe County Schools (96) and empower local communities to bring greenhouses to K-12 Schools, other approved non-profits, homeless shelters and micro & community gardens!

 

We coordinate, raise funds and provide engineered greenhouses at cost to schools encouraging and creating gardening education programs and for non-profits to build micro and community gardens.

WHAT WE DO

Getting Kids Involved

Goals:

  • Provide and install greenhouses at cost to to all Washoe County Schools by 2020 as we can.

  • Support education in all Schools where a greenhouse has been installed.

  • Provide and install Greenhouses at cost for any approved non-profit, micro or community garden.
